Für Movabletype würde ich ohne Jammern 50-100$ lockermachen. Das ist nicht der Punkt. Nicht aber bei einem Lizenzmodell, welches die Anzahl Weblogs, die man einrichten kann, beschränkt.
Nur zwei Fragen:
Wie konnte man das neue Lizenzmodell nur so streng an die Anzahl Autoren und Weblogs knüpfen?
Auf welche Software soll ich umsteigen?
Sixapart hat soeben ziemlich viel Goodwill verspielt:
«You’ll see from the pricing chart that the cost of offered licenses vary based on the number of authors and weblogs people plan to have. Based on surveys and user feedback, we are fairly comfortable these licenses will meet the needs of over 85% percent of our current users»

Daneben bleibt noch die kostenlose Version «Movable Type Free» für einen Autor und drei Weblogs: «No more than one author and three weblogs.»
Update:
Die Kommunikationsübung von Sixapart-Gründerin ist unglücklich:
«We’re big on honor at Six Apart. We haven’t built in any nagware for license violations or phone home mechanisms. We trust our users‘ good judgment and intentions. We intend to use our good judgment in being flexible about enforcing these limits.»
Was heisst das nun? Wir zählen auf die Ehrlichkeit der Movabletype-User, dass Sie ihre Lizenz freiwillig erhöhen, wenn sie z.B. mehr als 5 Weblogs eingerichtet haben? Das ist definitiv keine gute Firmenpolitik.
