Reuters startet ein Software-System, das helfen soll, Urheberrechtsverletzungen an Artikeln und Photos ausfindig zu machen. Entwickelt wurde es von der norwegischen Firma Fast. Reuters habe jedoch nicht die Betreiber von Weblogs im Visier, welche Reuters-Artikel zitieren. Weiterer Zweck der Content-Tracker-Software sei es, Informationen über die Popularität verschiedener Artikel zu erhalten.
