"Creative Commons bietet Musikern, Autoren, Fotografen und Filmemachern die Möglichkeit, sich für ihre Werke eigene Nutzungslizenzen zusammenzustellen. Dadurch sollen Kreative ermutigt werden, der Allgemeinheit so viele Nutzungsrechte wie möglich zur Verfügung zu stellen."
