The Dreams of Webzines Fizzle Out
Driving their new vision of entrepreneurialism is the rising morbidity among Internet content sites. Dozens of publications, including Word, have published their last issues. Other Webzines, including Salon.com, have retrenched after losing millions of dollars and having their stocks harshly punished.
